RE-USED, RECLAIMED, RE-DESIGNED
Inspiration can come from anywhere, but it was hard not to be blown away by the scale & beauty of a timber made wall of 1,000,000 individual pieces of wood. The interior walls of Vancouver's Convention Centre were assembled with 6,000 planks of sustainable BC hemlock, and were stacked by a Kuka robotic arm.
Inspired I have been making these timber vase holders with off cuts from the workshop. What would normally end up in the bin as waste has been transformed.
